Challenge: 3 lamp prompts 
1. Celebrate our relationship to light 
2. Reimagine the nightlight to show unexpected light in darkness,
3. Create a light that reflects NYC

Story: The Champ Lamp Series is a commentary on who and what gets celebrated in our society through trophy iconography. One lamp uses traditional trophy topper imagery of a weightlifter, wrestlers, and a runner,  exploring the empty pursuit of achievement (Champ Lamp: Winning Spirit). Another celebrates rest, an often overlooked accomplishment, through a nightlight archetype and a sleeping horizontal athlete (Champ Lamp: Rest). And, the final lamp in the series is a tribute to New Yorkers who keep the city going but rarely see the spotlight (Champ Lamp Unsung Heroes). Together the translucent forms in these lamps highlight the light that comes from within.
